Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi's Tughlaq Durbar will be having its direct television premiere on Sun TV on September 10, coming Friday at 6.30 PM. The film is expected to be viewed by a large section of the family audience, considering the fact that the film is premiering for the very first time, that too, on a festive occasion - Vinayakar Chaturthi. Post the television premiere, Tughlaq Durbar will officially stream on the Netflix platform from September 11 at 12 AM for the worldwide audience. Those who wouldn't want to watch the film with commercial breaks would prefer to watch it on Netflix.

Meanwhile, the makers have now released a new scene from the film as a sneak peek and this scene looks quite interesting. This funny sequence features Vijay Sethupathi threatening to take his own life if the Police arrest his leader, played by R Parthiban. The sneak peek has a fun vibe to it and has been packaged in an interesting fashion. Though the performance looks slightly exaggerated, it adapts to the quirky mood of the film. Parthiban's reactions are also highly enjoyable in this sneak peek. Tughlaq Durbar is directed by debutant Delhi Prasad Deenadayalan, a former associate of director Balaji Tharaneetharan.

Produced by SS Lalit Kumar under the banner of 7 Screen Studios, the film has music composed by Govind Vasantha of 96 fame. Manoj Paramahamsa and Mahendiran Jayaraju have handled the cinematography, while the editing is taken care of by Govindaraj R. Balaji Tharaneetharan has penned the dialogues for the film. Tughlaq Durbar will feature Raashi Khanna as the female lead, while Manjima Mohan will be seen playing the role of Vijay Sethupathi's younger sister. R Parthiban will be seen playing a crucial role, while Sathyaraj, Karunakaran, Bagavathi Perumal, Raj, and Bigg Boss fame Samyuktha form the supporting cast.
