This action entertainer is directed by the highly talented Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram and Kaithi fame and features Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist. This is the first time Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi are sharing screen space together and one can be sure that their combination scenes are going to be a visual treat in the theatres. Vijay Sethupathi is expected to play the role of a local gangster, who is named ‘Bhavani’. Talking in a recent Facebook live interaction, he said, “I’m playing the villain in Vijay sir’s Master. I’m a ruthless villain in the film. That character is purely evil.” These words from Vijay Sethupathi have excited the fans even more and he has just hyped the expectations to greater levels. The video of Vijay Sethupathi talking about this has been doing rounds on social media since last night. It looks like the fans are going to witness something really intriguing and let us hope all of us come out of this pandemic situation as soon as possible so that we would be able to see Master in the theatres.

Apart from Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, Master also features Malavika Mohanan, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, Gouri Kishan, Azhagam Perumal, Prem Kumar, Sanjeev, and others in the star cast. Produced by Xavier Britto under the banner of XB Film Creators, Master has music scored by rockstar Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan, editing by Philomin Raj, and stunt choreography by Stunt Silva. The film’s songs are already a huge hit among the fans and music lovers and it has played a key role in keeping the film in constant buzz and hype. Vijay will be seen playing the role of an alcoholic professor in the film.
