Popular Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda has gone on to become a sensation across South India after starring in hit films such as Arjun Reddy, Geetha Govindam, and most recently, the Bharat Kamma-directed romantic drama, Dear Comrade, which had him paired opposite Rashmika Mandanna. Among his upcoming projects, Vijay Deverakonda is currently attached to an untitled film alongside Aishwarya Rajesh, Raashi Khanna and Izabelle Leite followed by the action venture, Hero, opposite Malavika Mohanan, which has temporarily been put on hold. That said, he has now been announced to be teaming up blockbuster director Puri Jagannaadh. To be produced under the Puri Connects and Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies banners, the project was announced by actress and co-producer of the film, Charmme Kaur, on her official Twitter account.
Both Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur went on taste massive success with their latest film, iSmart Shankar, which has become a massive box office blockbuster featuring Ram Pothineni, Nabha Natesh and Nidhhi Agerwal in the lead roles. Post the announcement of Vijay Deverakonda joining hands with director Puri Jagannadh, all eyes are now set on whether this upcoming project will follow the steps of iSmart Shankar, which has gone on to satisfy fans of all ages for its hardcore masala commercial content.
