The title of Sivakarthikeyan's next film was announced to be Hero, with Irumbu Thirai fame director P.S.Mithran at the helm. The film was officially launched this morning with a formal pooja and the makers have also begun shooting for the film in Chennai. Action King Arjun, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Ivana, Robo Shankar and Prem Kumar form the supporting cast.

Meanwhile, there were also reports that Vijay Deverkonda's next film with debutante Anand Annamalai (co-writer of Kaakka Muttai) is titled as Hero. Kollywood insiders were quite confused as to which film will hold the title of Hero. After the announcement of Sivakarthikeyan's film, the makers of Vijay Deverakonda starrer have come out with legal proofs to show that the title, Hero belongs to them.

According to the officially released pictures from the team of Vijay Deverakonda's Hero, they have registered the title, Hero with the Tamil Film Producers Council on June 14, 2018. The title has been registered under director Manikandan's home banner, Tribal Arts Production with a fee of Rs 2360. The payment receipt has also been officially released to prove their side. 

The shooting of this rowdy star's film is all set to start from April 22 in Delhi, and it will feature him as a bike racer. The film is said to be made in all four south Indian languages including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, this Anand Annamalai directorial will have Petta fame Malavika Mohanan playing the female lead.

As per the receipt and the hard copy of the registration, Hero belongs to Vijay Deverakonda's team until June 2019. KJR Studios came up with a new post on social media that had the digital copy of TFPC's approval to use Hero for their film with Sivakarthikeyan. TFPC's approval letter states, "This is to certify that M/s. KJR Studios (Memb. No 4183) having their office at Flat No 5, 4th Street, Rapid Skyune, No 8/14, Sri Krishnapuram, Royapettah, Chennai-14, Mr Kotapadi J Rajesh is the proprietor of above said firm and is one of the producer member of our council as shown in the records. They have registered a Tamil film title, Hero in our council. This letter issued for title confirmation purpose."

With both the parites proving their side with legal documents, who will get the title of Hero in the end? Will it be Sivakarthikeyan or Vijay Deverakonda? Let's wait and watch.
