Kollywood stars are joining hands one-after-the-other to express their voice against the Jallikattu ban. Earlier in the day, Suriya issued a strong-worded statement on the issue claiming that the ban is to destroy the Tamil tradition. Now, Ilayathalapathy Vijay has condemned the ban in a video statement. He also said that no one has the rights to ban an old-age tradition. "Laws are to preserve the culture not to destroy. I really salute the youngsters of this state for voicing their opinion bravely, " he said. He also called for the immediate release of the those who are arrested in Allanganallur today for protesting against the ban.
