Ilayathalapathy Vijay watched Santosh Sivan's much appreciated Urumi at a special screening in Four Frames yesterday. Interesting the actor is currently busy wrapping up the shoot of A.R. Murugadoss' Thuppakki, which also has Santosh Sivan ASC as the cinematographer.
The Tamil version of cinematographer-director Santosh Sivan's magnum opus Urumi with Prithviraj, Genelia, Vidya Balan, Tabu and Prabhu Deva in lead roles, is all set to hit screens this Friday. Producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu is planning to release the film in more than 250 screens. The Malayalam version was released in a wide scale last year, which impressed the critics and audience alike.
