The going has been tough for Venkat Prabhu, his last film Party is yet to see the light of day owing to some financial issues. He has been longing to start his next film Maanaadu but he has literally waited one full year to find dates from the dairy of STR. 2019 is definitely a year that Venkat Prabhu would like to forget in respect to his career. But finally, we have some good news from the team, STR has finally given his dates and they are soon going to start rolling. So, what can the audience expect from STR and Venkat Prabhu? During a recent interaction on a Television channel, VP spoke about Maanaadu and how different it will be from his other project. 
 
Venkat Prabhu - “I am waiting to see Maanaadu myself, it is a very challenging script for me. And it’s a very new genre for me as well as STR. I think there has been a lot of ups and downs, twists and turn even before the commencement of the project. But I guess the script itself is bringing everybody back. It will be a very experience for STR fans. I try to tap the unknown side of every actor that I work with. I have approached Maanaadu with the same mindset. Like how Gautham Menon broke all the formula and should us a never seen before STR for us with VTV, I wanted to do the same in my style. That’s my wish and I hope everybody like it. I have definitely not done something like Maanaadu before, I am sure even STR or for that matter, anyone has attempted a concept like this in the past. Let’s see!”
