Director Venkat Prabhu has roped in five filmmakers including four of his assistant directors – Venkatesh Ramakrishnan (Nalanum Nandhiniyum), Saravana Rajan (Vadacurry), Sripathy (Kanimozhi), Chandru (Naveena Saraswathy Sabatham) and filmmaker Nagenthiran of Kaaval fame to shoot the climax scene of his much-awaited Chennai 28 sequel.
With the season’s most celebrated sequel already having its magical moments spread out, such a great combination of filmmakers coming together embosses the value of friendship. The film features the same star-cast from 2007 hit prequel Chennai 600028 and with Yuvan Shankar Raja’s signature theme occurring in Motion Poster, it’s like journeying memory down the lane for us. It is to be noted that a huge set has been erected especially for the climax sequence.
