Director Venkat Prabhu is busy with the preparatory works of his next, Maanaadu, starring STR in the lead role. After a long delay, this political drama is expected to begin by early February. The film features an ensemble star cast including S.A.Chandrasekhar, Bharathiraja, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Premgi Amaran, Karunakaran, and others. Produced by Suresh Kamatchi, this film will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Richard M Nathan.
