Director Venkat Prabhu is a widely known fan of Ajith Kumar and yesterday while the trailer was out, he was one of the very first people to tweet about it. Beneath the tweet, a fan of Venkat Prabhu questioned as to when will the super hit combo of Ajith, Yuvan and VP, for which a Twitter user wrote that Ajith is aware that VP is incapable of producing an original content and that the movie will definitely be a flop.

Venkat Prabhu last directed the sequel blockbuster sports comedy, Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings. His next project is Party: A Venkat Prabhu Hangover that has a humongous star cast like, Jai, Chandramouli, Shiva, Regina Cassandra, Sanchitha Shetty, Nivetha Pethuraj, Vijay Vasanth, Aravind Aakash Sathyaraj, Jayaram, Shaam, Ramya Krishnan and Naasar. He is also collaborating with STR for the political thriller Maanadu, for which the shooting is yet to begin.
