It is known that Vemal has been shooting for a project, co-starring Shriya Saran, and directed by Madhurey-fame R Madhesh, for quite some time now. The film, which is a remake of Jeethu Joseph's 2012 Malayalam film, My Boss, is titled Sandakari. Now, a leading daily has reported that the shoot of the film has been wrapped up! Talking to the daily, the director said that the experience has been nothing short of an adventure. The team was shooting in Kochi and reportedly a set they had erected got flooded away.

The director told the daily, “It was a bad situation in Kerala, but I think we got lucky. We were shooting for a major portion in an island-kind of place about 20km away from Kochi. We had erected a set of a house on the banks of a water body; it took us over a month to do the set work. We shot for about 15 days from July end, and had planned to return for patch work if need arises.”

“But hardly a day after we packed up that schedule, heavy rains hit Kerala and a flood-like situation emerged. We were on our way to Pollachi via Palakkad. When I reached out to the coordinators in Kochi, they told us that water had entered the set and it almost got washed away in the flood. It was nothing short of a miracle that we managed to leave the place as planned,” he added. The report also mentions that the team shot in London and then in Kochi.
