Vijay's Velayudham and Suriya's 7 Aum Arivu has completed 50 days in theatres recently. Both the films, which grace theatres on October 26, 2011, was indeed a Deepavali treat for fans. 7 Aum Arivu is a sci-fi thriller in which Suriya plays a double role: a circus artist and Buddhist monk. Kamal's daughter Shruti Haasan made her Kollywood debut through this film.
On the other hand Velayudham is a racy commercial entertainer which narrates the story of a simple village milk vendor who takes law in his hand to eradicate evil deeds from the society.
