Vishnu Vishal's Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran, a full-on commercial potboiler directed by Ezhil, has cleared the censors with an U certificate and tax exemption. Interestingly, this is also his maiden production venture. In the film, Nikki Galrani plays a cop and Vishnu will play a right-hand man to an MLA, who manages to ruin everything when he’s asked to do something. With actors like Robo Shankar and Soori playing key roles, Vishnu has assured that the film will be a wholesome entertainment for all section of the audience.
The latest is that the team has locked June 3 as its release date.
