Popular Telugu actor Kartikeya Gummakonda recently tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Lohitha Reddy in a grand wedding ceremony at Hyderabad. As wishes continue to pour in from fans and celebrities for the Telugu sensation, the actor recently paid a visit to Tirupati with his wife and family to seek the blessings of the lord and was spotted by media persons at the temple where he was queried about sharing screen space with Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar in the upcoming film Valimai directed by H. Vinoth and produced under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner. 

Kartikeya greets fans and informs that he's bowled over by the anticipation for Valimai, which he revealed has surpassed his expectations. He goes on to state that luck has favored him to work along with Ajith and was something he had not expected to happen so early in his career. Kartikeyan further spoke about how Ajith treated every single member in the crew with equal amount of respect irrespective of their place in the film. He also said that he has gained a good relationship with Ajith, which he revealed to be more valuable. Kartikeyan shares his excitement for Valimai and hopes for the film to do well after its release, while also expressing his wish to do more Tamil projects in the future. Watch the video below:

Valimai marks Kartikeya's acting debut in Tamil cinema, with the actor seen in the film's glimpse teaser released sometime back giving Ajith a tough fight, with the plot revolving extensively around bikers. Kartikeya, who debuted in 2017's Prematho Mee Karthik in Telugu, tasted blockbuster success in the romantic action drama RX 100, with all sights now set on his role in Valimai.
