A project that is eagerly being awaited by Tamil cinema lovers everywhere, the highly-anticipated Ajith Kumar starrer Valimai will be the actor's 60th film in his glorious career. Being directed by H. Vinoth under producer Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner, Valimai is touted to be an out-an-out action film catering to family audiences as well, with pictures of 'Thala' Ajith in biker gear and posing with some fans now doing the rounds on social media. The latest pictures of Ajith show him sporting the salt n' pepper look, which he has been carrying off with ease for years now, with fans on social media making do with the photos as they continue to wait with bated breath for the Valimai first look.

Ajith's look in the recent photos are some of the few pictures that have been trending and are the talk of the town after a bike stunt sequence featuring the superstar in Valimai went viral on social media sometime back. Expectations for Valimai have been sky-high considering it will be the first time in more than six years that Ajith will be playing a police officer once again after Yennai Arindhaal in 2015. Fans are keeping a close watch on all the developments related to Valimai in the hopes of the first look poster announcement coming soon. Check out Ajith's latest pictures below:

Valimai also has composer Yuvan Shankar Raja on board for the music, with his involvement declared to be a big addition to the mass action project. It is to be noted that the upcoming film is incidentally the second consecutive occasion that Ajith, director H. Vinoth, Boney Kapoor and Yuvan are collaborating after 2019's box office blockbuster, Nerkonda Paarvai, which also went on to be hailed by many critics for being as faithful as can be to its Hindi original, Pink, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles.

Ajith will be looking to hit the bullseye with Valimai and make it three on the trot, especially after his Viswasam and the courtroom drama Nerkonda Paarvai turned out to be stunning box office successes. Valimai was also the first big Tamil production venture to resume shooting after the government lifted the pandemic lockdown restrictions, with the film also featuring Telugu actor Karthikeya speculated to be playing the antagonist, followed by Kaala fame Huma Qureshi as the female lead and Yogi Babu, Saranya Ravichandran among others forming the supporting cast.
