Actor Ajith Kumar's Valimai is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on February 24 and is coming out in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada languages. Produced by Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner in association with Zee Studios, the upcoming pan-Indian action thriller directed by H. Vinoth will be the first pan-Indian release for Ajith, who is playing the role of a police officer after his Yennai Arindhaal in 2015. With the film's release around the corner, promotions are being carried out extensively and the makers on Thursday released the much-awaited Valimai Hindi trailer.

The Valimai Hindi trailer doesn't include any new footage when compared to the Tamil version that was released last year. However, the visuals will no doubt be appealing to Hindi audiences as the film has been made on a large-scale production by Boney Kapoor. Ajith has been pitted against Telugu actor Kartikeya Gummakonda, who is playing the villain, and the film will be dealing with the subject of illegal bike racing. The buzz for Valimai has been massive ever since the film was announced in 2019 and has not fizzled out despite the delay in its release due to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns.

Expectations for Valimai are massive as fans are set to witness Ajith once again on the big screen after the blockbuster response to the courtroom drama Nerkonda Paarvai in 2019. The buzz for the film in the trade as well is huge considering Ajith is on track for a hat-trick after his Viswasam and Nerkonda Paarvai turned out to be huge money-spinners. Valimai is the second consecutive time Ajith has teamed up with H. Vinoth, Boney Kapoor, and composer Yuvan Shankar Raja after Nerkonda Paarvai and the film also features Kaala heroine Huma S. Qureshi as the female lead, while Yogi Babu, Raj Ayyappa, Pugazh, Bani, Sumithra, Achyunth Kumar among others are appearing pivotal roles.
