The recently released Tamil sports film Kennedy Club starred veteran director Bharathiraja in the lead role along with director-actor Sasikumar. The star cast of Kennedy Club also includes Samuthirakani and Soori in a pivotal role. The rest of the actors in it are Meenakshi, Neethu, Gayathri, Soumya, Soundarya, Smriti and Pillayar Ruthru. The film is written and directed by Suseenthiran is produced by DN Thaisaravanan under the banner of Nallusamy Pictures. Kennady Club is said to be made based on real-life incidents which revolve around the women's Kabaddi team. The movie has cinematography and editing handled by RB Gurudev and Antony respectively. D Imman had composed the music for Kennedy Club. The film released on August 22nd and received average reviews.
