Legendary comedy actor Vadivelu was recently tested positive for the Covid 19 virus and he was admitted to the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre in Porur, Chennai. Vadivelu returned from London last week after completing the music composing sessions of his upcoming movie, Naai Sekar Returns and post his return, he was tested positive for the virus. Soon after the news came out, the fans were worried and praying for his speedy recovery. To all those who were waiting to know about his health update, here is a development. The good news is that Vadivelu is in good condition and is all set to be discharged from the hospital soon. An official statement from Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre was issued this afternoon (December 27) and it has come as a heartening update for the fans. The statement read, "Mr. Vadivelu was admitted on 23.12.2021 with positive report for Covid in Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre. He is recovering well with treatment and is stable. He is likely to be discharged soon". It is good to know that Vadivelu is recovering well and let us hope to see him back in action soon. Director Suraaj has also tested positive for the infection and is currently under treatment. On the acting front, Vadivelu will be making his comeback after a hiatus with Naai Sekar Returns which is going to be directed by Suraaj of Thalai Nagaram and Alex Pandian fame. Produced by Lyca Productions on a grand scale, the film will have music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Cook with Comali sensation Sivaangi, Anandaraj, Doctor fame Redin Kingsley, Vigneshkanth, and others are also a part of the film's star cast. Naai Sekar Returns will be edited by Selva RK of Karnan and Sarpatta Parambarai fame.
