The shooting of STR's long-pending Vaalu, directed by debutant Vijan Chander, is progressing in brisk pace. Hansika is the leading lady. The team is also aiming for a Deepavali release.

The story of the film, which is touted to be a rom-com, revolves about a youngster living in the railway quarters in Chennai and is expected to be a complete entertainer.
