Tamil actor Chiyaan Vikram’s much-awaited upcoming multi-lingual movie Mahavir Karna has started. It’s first schedule began on Thursday at Hyderabad’s Film City, shared noted Malayalam director RS Vimal, who is helming the project.

The makers have recently brought a giant bell to be used for Karna’s 30 feet-high chariot after performing puja at the Padmanabhaswamy temple at Thiruvananthapuram. The movie is said to be made at a whopping Rs 300 crore budget, and will be dubbed into 30 languages, as per reports. It is being produced by New York based United Film Kingdom, added reports.

“It will be an international project and will be based on the Mahabharata. It will have leading Bollywood actors and technicians from Hollywood. The project will be different from the earlier announced Malayalam movie, Karnan,” said Vimal in an interview given to a website.
