Actor Udhayanidhi Stalin has recently filed a case against the Tamil Nadu Tax Exemption Committee for denying tax exemption for his just-released Gethu. Generally, titles with Tamil names are given tax exemption but Gethu was denied citing that it is not a Tamil title. At the court, his team has now produced two dictionaries written by Tamil professors as a proof for his argument. His lawyers also condemned the committee's decision and cited that it was due to personal vendettas, as the committee is dominated by ruling party.
