Trisha's long-time association with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is already a known fact. Now the latest is that the actress has written a letter to Chennai's Mayor asking him to to scrap plans to roundup 30,000 dogs and also urged for a humanitarian way of handling this issue. She also requested to focus on Chennai's efforts on an aggressive animal birth control and anti-rabies program.
