Popular Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas has bagged number of major projects this year. The Ente Ummante Peru actor will be seen sharing screen space with superstar Mohanlal in upcoming political thriller Lucifer. And The Oscar Goes To, Virus, Uyire, Kalki, Minnal Murali are some of his major films in the pipeline. Tovino also played the role of the villain in Tamil star Dhanush’s Maari 2.

Recently, Tovino unveiled the title poster of his next movie, Aaravam. Based on the famous boat race of Kerala, Vallamkali, it will be directed by debutante Jeethu Ashraf.


Haseeb Haneef is bankrolling the movie which has its tagline ‘beat of the land.’ Its story will be written by Shahi Kabeer who shot to fame with the critically acclaimed movie, Joseph.
