A leading Tamil daily recently reported that Thulasi will play the leading lady opposite Shanmuga Pandian, youngest son of veteran actor-turned-politician Vijaykanth. However, Thulasi's sister Karthika has denied the report. "Guys, the recent issue of Ananda Vikadan magazine said that Thulasi is acting with Vijaykanth sir's son is false," she clarified.
Thulasi, who made her debut with Mani Ratnam's Kadal, is currently busy with Ravi K. Chandran's directorial debut Yaan.
