Tamil movie buffs will have three very different movies to enjoy this weekend. The first being Jayam Ravi's comedy entertainer Sakalakala Vallavan Appatakkar, directed by Suraaj, known for his comedy flicks. In fact, the fun trailers and wonderful chemistry between comedian Soori and Jayam Ravi promise to make the movie a comedy treat. The film also has veteran comedian Vivekh playing a pivotal role. It is also interesting that Trisha and Anjali are playing the female leads, who also contribute to the humour in the movie.

On the other hand, director A. L.Vijay has experimented with a genre new to him: romantic.comedy. Titled Idhu Enna Maayam, the film is a romcom with Vikram Prabhu and Keerthi Suresh in the lead roles. Unlike his previous ventures, Idhu Enna Maayam is said to be a very different film for the director and for his main lead, Vikram Prabhu.

The third release for the day is Vijay Sethupathi's Orange Mittai, where the actor appears in the role of an old man. Directed by director-cinematographer-editor Biju Viswanath, the movie has already raised expectations over its unique story, which revolves around 4 characters.

All the three movies promise to present a very different experience to the audience. To know the verdict on these movies, stay tuned to Galatta.com.
