Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan has been a hot favorite among south Indians especially in Kerala where he has garnered a huge fan following ever since his acting debut in 2012. Since then, Dulquer has forayed into starring in Tamil and Hindi films and has been credited to be an actor who has proven his mettle like his father, Mammootty. Having made his Hindi cinema debut last year in the road film, Karwaan, alongside Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar, the talented star is set to be seen in his next big film in Bollywood titled, The Zoya Factor, opposite popular actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. Hitting screens on September 20, director Abhishek Sharma has helmed The Zoya Factor from which the much-awaited ‘Lucky Charm’ song sung by Raghuvir Yadav and Shankar Mahadevan with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya has now been released.

An adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's bestselling novel, The Zoya Factor revolves around Sonam Kapoor’s character, Zoya Solanki, an advertising agency executive who goes on to become a lucky charm for the Indian Cricket team after it is revealed she was born on June 25, 1983 when India won their first ever Cricket World Cup. Expectations for the film are quite high after the release of a fun-filled packaged trailer a few days back. Produced jointly by Fox Star Studios and Ad-Labs Films Limited, Dulquer Salmaan plays the role of the captain of the Indian Cricket Team in the film, which features music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy with Indrajit Sharma and Parikshit Sharma composing the background score.
