When Suseenthiran titled his next film as Maaveeran Kittu, many speculated that the project will narrate the story of Eelam fighter Kittu. However, the team, from the beginning, has been denying it. With the Vishnu-Sri Divya starrer all set to grace theaters this Friday, the director has revealed that the story is based on few real life incidents. Set in the 80s in a small village called Puthur, Vishnu will play a student who hails from a poor family while Parthiban, who owns a printing press, is his well-wisher and sponsor. A social issue changes both their lives and the struggle begins. The film is produced by Nallu Samy Pictures and Asian Cine Combines.
