Saamy was a noteworthy film in director Hari, Vikram and Trisha's career. Now, the trio has come together for the sequel, Saamy 2 produced by Shibu Thameens. It is said that the shooting for Saamy 2 will commence in April. The supporting cast and the locations are being finalised now. Music director Harris Jayaraj has been brought on board as well.
