Kollywood's legendary director K.Balachander’s cult classic, Thillu Mullu, is all set to be remade in Tamil by Vendhar Movies. Shiva of Tamizh Padam fame will be playing Rajni's role, while Malayalam actress Isha Talwar, who shot to fame with the recently released Thattathin Marayathu, will play the female lead! Prakashraj, Kovai Sarala, Dr. Srinivasan, Sathyan, Ilavarasu, Manobala, Brahmanandham, and many others are a part of the movie! Badri, who directed movies like Veerappu and Thambikku Indha Ooru, will be helming this movie, as well as writing the screenplay and dialogues!
Interestingly veteran composer M.S. Vishwanathan will be joining hands with Yuvanshankar Raja, for composing the music for Thillu Mullu! The movie is all set to be launched at the Image Auditorium, on August 24, and shooting is set to begin from September!
NOTE: Thillu Mullu, remake of Golmaal with Rajinikanth in lead role, was about a man who creates a fictional brother to fool his boss.
