Kangana Ranaut's Queen, which released in 2014, trned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters ever in Bollywood. Since then, producers across the country have been wanting to remake the movie in various languages. After a number of false starts, the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam remakes of Queen are underway and are in various stages of production. The Telugu remake has Tamannaah reprising Kangana's role from the original and is being directed by Prashanth Varma, under the Mediente International Films Ltd. banner! Titled That is Mahalakshmi, this movie has famous TV anchor and actor Shibandi Dandekar playing Tamannaag's sister.


Tamannaah's co-star Shibani is dating Bollywood star Farhan!

We now have reports that Shibani is dating top Bollywood director and actor Farhan Akthar. Farhan, who has directed blockbusters like Dil Chahta Hai, Don and Don 2, has also acted in movies like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Wazir. This multi-talented star was earlier married to Adhuna Bhabani for six years, before their marriage ended in divorce, in 2016. Shibani Dandekar became famous in the South after she began hosting the pre-game and mid-game talk shows during the IPL matches. Shibani has been posting a number of cozy pictures of her and Farhan, chilling out at various places. Following a lot of comments about their relationship, Shibani posted, “I think a picture speaks a thousand words. When I post something, it’s there for the people to see. I don’t think you need to write a caption or say something; it’s there in the picture(s). Whatever is there is what you want to take and make from it… I don’t think we are going out about to hide anything or announce anything. It is what it is.”

That is Mahalakshmi marks Shibani's Telugu debut and the Malayalam remake of Queen, titled Zam Zam will mark her entry into Mollywood. The Tamil remake of Queen stars Kajal Aggarwal in the lead and has been titled Paris Paris. Ramesh Aravind is directing the Tamil version as well as the Kannada version, titled Butterfly, which has Parul Yadav in the lead.
