Thanga Meenkal has been selected for screening at the Indian Panorama bouquet for IFFI - 2013. Of the 210 eligible entries, 26 were selected; with this movie directed by Ram, becoming the only Tamil movie alongside movies from other industries across our country. Mollywood has the most number of entries with six movies, followed by five in Hindi and Bengali, three in Marathi, two in English and one each in Konkani, Kannada, Oriya, Tamil and Mising.
