Thanga Meenkal directed by Ram will be going to two International Film Festivals that will be held next month. The film will be seen in the 44th International Film Festival of India to be held in Goa from 20th to 30th November. Thanga Meenkal will also be featured in the 18th International Children's Film Festival of India, also called as the Golden Elephant 2013. This festival will be celebrated at Hyderabad from 14th to 20th November.

The entire crew is ecstatic about their movie gaining international exposure and the team owes it to the hard work put in by the entire crew. Nandini Karky, who did the sub-titling for the film, says, "'Am very glad that early in my subtitling career, I got to work on such a meaningful movie. It was also a learning experience because once I had completed subtitling the movie, I replayed the entire movie with subtitles and Director Ram spent many hours, ensuring that the true essence was conveyed in every dialogue in every scene. Director Ram's attention to detail and deep involvement in every aspect of his movie is the main reason for the artistic success of the movie."

We at Galatta heartily congratulate the Thanga Meenkal team and wish for more such meaningful movies to hit screens!
