'Thalapathy' Vijay's Master has taken a phenomenal opening in theatres, with the response from fans being largely positive. Produced by Xavier Britto's XB Film Creators, the mass masala action entertainer directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and also starring 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi as the villain, has collected 25 crores on Day 1 in Tamil Nadu alone, as per an official statement by the makers. With a strong audience turnout in cinema halls everywhere, a video of an elderly and visually-challenged woman in a theatre trying to buy tickets for Masterfor herself and another person accompanying her has now gone viral on social media.

In the video, we see the elderly woman telling the theatre-owner that she is a big fan of 'Thalapathy' Vijay and wishes to watch Master, while also paying her hard-earned money to purchase tickets with Rs 120. The woman, who appears to be visually-challenged, is then given a big surprise as the theatre owner allows her to watch Master free of cost and escorts her into the gallery. The video, which has gone viral on social media, has won hearts everywhere, with Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi fans complimenting the theatre-owner.

Master is set to witness a bigger audience turnout this weekend as family audiences will be looking to watch the film in theatres in line with youngsters thronging cinema halls for a repeat viewing. The film has without a doubt revived the film industry business and movie-watching experience, with theatre owners along with the fans celebrating the stunning opening. Master, which was initially scheduled to hit screens in April last year, had to be pushed to nearly a year due to the pandemic. Despite the delay, the film has managed to live up to a majority of the fans' expectations, with compliments being showered on Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi for their electrifying performances, director Lokesh Kanagaraj for yet another enjoyable packaged entertainer and the rest of the Master team.

Apart from Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, Master featuring chart-buster music by Anirudh Ravichander, also includes in its diverse cast names like Malavika Mohanan as the female lead, with Andrea Jeremiah, Kaithi villain Arjun Das, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Gouri Kishan, Master Mahendran, KPY Dheena, Ramya Subramanian, Azhagam Perumal among others in vital supporting roles. Another big news that has come out is that Master has been officially confirmed to be remade in Hindi next and will be jointly produced by Endemol Shine India, Cine1 Studios and Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studios, with the casting set to commence soon.
