A film that was awaited by fans everywhere for more than a year, 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Master finally hit screens worldwide on Wednesday as a grand Pongal treat and has since taken a staggering opening at the box office. Lokesh Kanagaraj's mass masala action entertainer produced by Xavier Britto's XB Film Creators and also starring 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist had collected 25 crores on Day 1 in Tamil Nadu, with the film being hailed as one of the biggest openings for a Vijay film to date. With the film now being celebrated by fans everywhere, the makers have now officially released the Master behind the scenes making video featuring both Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in action, with director Lokesh Kanagaraj leading the charge. 

The Master team is making up for the dearth of updates during the lockdown period by now releasing a line of treats over the past few days both prior and post the film's release. This latest Master BTS video gives fans a direct insight and upfront look at the production behind the film, including the work output of all the members in the cast and crew. Distributed by Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studios and featuring chart-buster music by Anirudh Ravichander, Master is being celebrated by fans and celebrities alike, with many taking to social media to share their opinions and reviews after they watched the film. Despite the 50% occupancy order by the Tamil Nadu government, the response for Master in the state has been stunning, with fans continuing to shower praises on Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, including Lokesh Kanagaraj for delivering a complete commercial entertainer that satisfies audiences of all ages.

Master has been declared as a theatre celebration film, with fans thronging theatres for the movie-watching experience on the big screen once again, which many missed due to the delay in release caused because of the pandemic. A pan-Indian release, Master has also been released simultaneously in Hindi under the title Vijay The Master alongside the Tamil, Telugu and the Kannada versions. Apart from Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, i's diverse cast also includes Malavika Mohanan as the female lead, with Andrea Jeremiah, Kaithi villain Arjun Das, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Gouri Kishan, Master Mahendran, KPY Dheena, Ramya Subramanian, Azhagam Perumal among others.
