Gearing up for a massive Diwali release in October is the upcoming ‘ThalapathyVijay starrer, Bigil, which had its first look and title revealed on the occasion of the superstar’s birthday last week. The response for the film’s title as well as the three posters have been nothing short of phenomenal as fans have been decoding the various hidden details in them. An interesting addition in Bigil is in the inclusion of Super Singer Junior Season 6 star Kabish Poovaiyar, who in a recent interview opened up on how he went on to become part of the esteemed project being directed by Atlee.

Poovaiyar starts off saying he was completely surprised when he was taken to meet A. R. Rahman for whom he sang after which the Oscar-winning composer said the decision to make the young and up-and-coming singer croon for a song was up to the director. The Super Singer Junior Season 6 then added he was surprised yet again when he came to know it was director Atlee and that he was being considered to croon for a track as well as for a small role in Vijay’s Bigil. Upon meeting the superstar, Poovaiyar stated Vijay told him he was doing a splendid job with his snging and acting skills. Vijay then questioned him as to who taught him to do all this for which the singer replied back saying it was because of God’s grace.

An AGS Entertainment venture, Bigil is an action sports drama and includes a multi-star cast featuring names like Nayanthara as the female lead, Jackie Shroff, Vivek, Kathir, Indhuja, Reba Monica John, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Yogi Babu, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha Aiyer, Soundararaja, Devadarshini, ‘Thaadi’ Balaji, Dheena among others in major supporting roles. The film will see Vijay in dual roles for the sixth time after Azhagiya Tamil Magan, Villu, Kaththi, Puli and Mersal with the film's album being composed by A. R. Rahman comprising of 5 songs in total.
