Thalapathy 64 cast gets bigger - check out the new actors who have joined!

Actor Vijay’s upcoming film, Thalapathy 64, under Kaithi director Lokesh Kanagaraj kicked off its second leg of filming at Delhi a few days back after it went into production last month. Vijay is being joined by actress Petta actress Malavika Mohanan as his pair with the film also including composer Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music. With the film’s introduction song recently shot under choreographer Dinesh Kumar, production has been progressing at a steady pace in light of the summer 2020 theatrical release plans. That said, more new actors have joined the Thalapathy 64 cast among whom are Prem, Chetan, Azhagam Perumal and Mathew Varghese of Meyaadha Maan fame coming on board in vital supporting roles. It is known already that the film will also include Vijay’s real life close friends Sanjeev and Srinath with Sriman also in its secondary cast along with 96 fame Gouri G. Kishan.

Being produced by Vijay's relative, Xavier Britto, under the XB Film Creators banner, Thalapathy 64 has fans everywhere excited for its main cast apart from Vijay which includes names like ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Angamaly Diaries actor Antony Varghese in major starring roles. Fans have been curious about Thalapathy 64 right from the moment of its announcement as it will see Vijay teaming up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj; whom who he has never worked with before. This is mainly due to the fact that the young filmmaker has made heads turn across the Tamil film industry after delivering back-to-back successes in the form of Maanagaram and the recently-released, Kaithi. Fans expect Vijay 64 as well to be an out-and-out cracker of an intense film as Lokesh Kanagaraj’s previous two ventures.
