We had reported that the entire team of Thalaivaa (including Vijay, Sathyaraj, Amala Paul, director Vijay, producers, cinematographer Nirav Shah, music director G.V. Prakash and the entire technical team) is planning to go on hunger strike in the city. The producers have approached the Chennai police commissioner for permission for the fast. But the latest is that the permission for strike has been denied. We also hear that the team is planning to approach the High Court for intervention.
Thalaivaa graced all over the world on August 9, except Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
