Director Magizh Thirumeni has established himself as a talent to reckon with after helming films namely Mundhinam Paartheney, Thadaiyara Thaakka, Meaghamann and the smash hit, Thadam, earlier this year. Since then, Magizh Thirumeni has been busy with pre-production work on his upcoming next, which has now been revealed to include Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead role with the plan to zero in on a popular name for the female lead currently ongoing. As of now, no production banner has been revealed to be attached to the project and an announcement on the complete cast and technical crew is expected to be revealed in the days ahead.
Magizh Thirumeni had worked with reputed directors Gautham Menon and Selvaraghavan and hit the jackpot earlier this year with his critical and commercial hit, Thadam, starring Arun Vijay in the lead role. Likewise, Magizh Thirumeni was also announced to be making his acting debut in the upcoming Vijay Sethupathi project tentatively titled, VSP33, under the Chandaraa Arts banner with Megha Akash playing the female lead. As for Udhayandhi Stalin, the actor turned politician is at present working in acclaimed director Mysskin's upcoming Psycho, which has Aditi Rao Hydari as the heroine with music by 'Isaignani' Ilaiyaraaja.
