Arun Vijay's Thadaiyara Thaakka with Mamta Mohandas is all set to hit screens on May 11, 2012.The film is touted to be an action thriller backed with a breezy romance.
Thadaiyara Thaakka, produced by Feathertouch Entertainment, is directed by Magil Thirumeni, Gautham Menon’s former associate. Cinematography is handled by Sukumar of Mynaa fame. Art direction is by Prabhakar, music by Thaman, lyrics by Thamarai while Praveen and Srikanth will take care of editing. Delhi-based model Rakul Preet Singh will also play a prominent role in the film.
When asked about the film, this is what Arun Vijay had to say about the film. "To begin with I was curious to listen to Magilzh’s story because he has been director Gautham Menon’s assistant. I knew that it would be something different and I was right. I knew I wanted to do this movie because during the narrations when Magilzh suggested taking a short break, I asked him to proceed. I found the story and the suspense that gripping. I had to know what was going to happen next. And that’s exactly I believe the audience will feel. It’s the kind of story where the audience gets completely involved and can’t wait to find out what’s going to happen next. I just loved the way he had worked out the screenplay. It was interesting and intriguing and I knew that since he had worked with Gautham Menon, his making would be classy. The riveting story and the promise of a stylishly made action thriller brought me on-board."
