A film that set the entire nation talking upon its release in 2018, Andhadhun, went on to become a phenomenal box office success. The film starring Ayushmann Khurrana as a blind pianist alongside actresses Tabu and Radhika Apte drew critical acclaim from all corners and has gone to attain cult status, with remakes since its release announced in several languages. Among the remakes in development is the Telugu version, which had actor Nithiin announced a while back to be reprising Ayushmann Khurrana's role under Merlapaka Gandhi's direction. 

The Andhadhun Telugu remake being produced by N Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy under their Sreshth Movies banner and distributed by Tagore Madhu has had its full cast now revealed. The makers have announced that actress Tamannaah will be reprising Tabu's role, while iSmart Shankar fame Nabha Natesh will be playing the role portrayed by Radhika Apte. 

Tamannaah has garnered a massive fan following over the years and enjoys a huge fan base among the Telugu-speaking people. The actress will have her hands full in coming up with a performance on par with Tabu, who won praises from audiences and critics alike. Nabha Natesh, who is steadily becoming a popular name among fans, will be looking forward to cementing her place as a performer to look out for with the upcoming role, which won high plaudits for Radhika Apte in the original version. 

Apart from directing the Andhadhun Telugu remake, Merlapaka Gandhi will also be writing the dialogues while Mahati Swara Sagar has been announced to be composing the music, with Hari K. Vedanth handling the cinematography. Andhadhun directed by Sriram Raghavan in Hindi released to glowing reviews and quickly earned the distinction of a cult classic. The black comedy crime thriller film featured several twists and turns keeping audiences hooked to their seats and provided them with an edge-of-the-seat nail-biting entertainment. Fans have gone on to declare Ayushmann Khurrana's performance in the film as one of the best in recent times, with Tabu once again shining bright in her role with ease.
