A film that highly awaited in recent times, NGK, directed by Selvaraghavan and starring Suriya in the lead role released worldwide yesterday (May 31) amidst much hype and fanfare.
Produced under the Dream Warrior Pictures banner and being presented by Reliance Entertainment, the action political drama includes Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh as the female leads followed by Bala Singh, Ponvannan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Vela Ramamoorthy among others in supporting roles with chartbuster music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
NGK is a special film for ace director Selvaraghavan considering it is a full-blown commercial vernture for the filmmaker; something he hasn’t done before and this time with a top rank hero like Suriya.
That said, Selvaraghavan took to his Twitter page to thank fans for their support towards the film as well as go on to reveal that the character of NGK has many hidden layers and secrets, which are quite easy to find if watched with keen eyes. Check out his tweet below:
With NGK out in theatres now, fans have been thronging theatres everywhere to witness Suriya in action and also considering the film marks director Selvaraghavan’s comeback to cinema after a gap of 6 years as well as the return of the Selva-Yuvan combo after 13 years since their cult classic, Pudhupettai, in 2006.
