One of the busiest and most popular stars in south India, Suriya has established himself over the years as a credible actor in Tamil cinema while also tasting great success as a producer with his 2D Entertainment banner along with spearheading the message of education reform of late for the Agaram Foundation. Suriya, whose first release of the year, NGK, took a stunning opening, will next be seen in the much-awaited action thriller, Kaappaan, hitting screens on August 30 and is at present working on the highly anticipated, Soorarai Pottru. The superstar was also announced to be part of reputed production house, Studio Green’s next project, tentatively titled Suriya 40, which will be helmed by director Siva.
