Suriya has a busy year ahead as the star is attached to a line of films that include the highly anticipated action political drama, NGK, under Selvaraghavan’s direction being planned for a summer release.
The acclaimed actor also will be seen alongside Arya, Sayyeshaa, Mohanlal, Boman Irani and Samuthirakani in the action thriller film, Kaappaan, under KV Anand’s direction, with plans for an August 15 release.
Meanwhile, the actor who was last seen in Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, will soon begin work on Suriya 38 under his 2D Entertainment banner with Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara directing the film, G. V. Prakash Kumar scoring the music and Vivek for the lyrics.
That said, 2D Entertainment has now officially announced that Oscar winner Guneet Monga, who produced the short documentary, Period. End Of Sentence, has joined Suriya 38.

Guneet Monga served as one of the producers on Period. End Of Sentence under her Sikhya Entertainment banner, which was adjudged as the winner in the Best Documentary – Short Subject at the 91st Academy Awards earlier this week.
As of now, Guneet Monga’s association in Suriya 38 is unknown, but we can expect more details on her role in the film in the days ahead. Let us wait and watch.
