Announced earlier this year during the promotions of Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, Suriya revealed he would be joining hands with director KV Anand for a film tentatively titled Suriya 37.

It must be noted the two had previously collaborated for the blockbuster Ayan in 2009.

They followed up with another success in the form of Maattrraan in 2012.

Since then, there have been reports surrounding who would score the music for Suriya 37 as it was believed the makers were looking to bring aboard Hiphop Tamizha once again after KV Anand worked with the composer in Kavan.

That said, an official announcement has now come from KV Anand himself, who has gone on to reveal composer Harris Jayaraj will be handling the musical score in Suriya 37.

This will also be the eighth occasion that Harris Jayaraj will be scoring music for a Suriya film after hit scores in films such as Kaakha Kaakha, Ghajini, Vaaranam Aayiram and Ayan to name a few.

At present, Suriya is working in NGK under Selvaraghavan's direction and is slated for a Diwali release later this year.
