Aval was when the Tamil audience lastly witnessed actor Siddharth on screen. He is one among the few actors who are true to their craft and is a true performer since his debut in director Shankar's movie Boys, 2003. His next would be Aruvam, written and directed by a debutante, Sai Sekhar. Siddharth has also signed up Sivappu Manjal Pachai with director Sasi of Pichaikkaaran fame and Shaitan Ka Bachcha with Karthik G Krish of Kappal fame. Aside from these he has also signed up a few unannounced projects, and in one of them with Nivas K Prasanna's music, STR has recorded a song with Sanjana Kalmanje.

Siddharth's upcoming movie Aruvam is a horror comedy where Catherine Tresa plays the female lead, and Sathish and Kaali Venkat are cast in supporting roles. With S S Thaman's music the editing of Aruvam is handled by Praveen KL.
Sivappu Manjal Pachai is an emotional thriller, written and directed by Sasi, that also features G V PrakashKumar, Lijomol Jose, Kashmira, Madhusudhanan, “Nakkalites” Dhanam, Deepa Ramanujam and Prem. The movie was supposed to be a movie releasing in July, but there are no proper announcements on the same.
