Sylvester Stallone has said that he was so desperate for cash in the early days of his career that he sold his beloved pooch for 50 dollars only to reacquire the hound for 3000 dollars, after selling the script to his breakthrough film Rocky just a week later.
He said that he tied his dog up at a store with a sign that said a hundred bucks but only got 50 dollars from a guy called Little Jimmy. After selling the Rocky script, he went to see Little Jimmy and begged for the dog back, and somehow got it back.
