The expectations for Suriya’s upcoming film Soorarai Pottru are super high, thanks to the impressive power packed teaser which released a few weeks back. Suriya needs a big hit, his recent films have not done well at the box office. So, the release time is also very important for Suriya to get back into the mix of top league actors. His last blockbuster hit was Singam 2 which released 7 years ago. The shooting of Soorarai Pottru was completed long back but the makers want no stones unturned so they are taking ample time to work on the post-production.  Soorarai Pottru is planned for Summer 2020 release. 
 
One of the major highlights of Soorarai Pottru teaser was the re-recording of GV Prakash. The ‘Maara theme’ that comes with the powerful vocals of Suriya was used in the teaser. The track has clicked well with the masses. Fans have been asking GV Prakash and Soorarai Pottru team to release the theme. Now the makers have announced that the track will be out by tomorrow January 24th. Sony Music, the official music partner of Soorarai Pottru made this news via Twitter - “YES! THE WAIT ENDS HERE! The rocking #MaaraTheme will be out at 4 PM tomorrow!”
