Mahat Raghavendra made his acting debut way back in 2006 with an uncredited role in Simbu’s Vallavan. But he got his first major breakthrough with Ajith-Venkat Prabhu’s crime thriller Mankatha which released in the year 2011. Since then, we have seen Mahat in some multi-starrers like Jilla, Chennai 28-2, and AAA. He has created a name for himself doing prominent roles in these films.

Now, he finally has an opportunity to take his career to the next level. Mahat is acting in a solo hero film ‘Kettavanu Peredutha Nallavanda’ – yes, the title is inspired by Simbu’s song from Silambattam. Prabhu Ram is the director while Dharan Kumar will be taking care of the music department.

Dharan took to his Twitter to reveal a surprise for all Simbu fans – “All the #STR fans out there. Something really interesting is coming up ! #Kettavanupereduthanallavanda is going to make you all celebrate #Simbu. Wait for the surprise oi¿½i¿½Z #simbufan @MahatOfficial @Aishwaryadutta6 #Praburam.”

Looks like Mahat will be playing a Simbu fan and maybe, we can even expect STR to do a cameo act for his beloved friend.
