Kanaa starring Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role which also has veteran actor Sathyaraj in a pivotal role is directed by Arunraja Kamaraj. Kanaa is the first production venture for actor Sivakarthikeyan under the banner SK Productions. The star has also played a cameo in the movie and the venture is based on women cricket in the country.
The teaser and audio launch of the movie happened in a grand manner a few months back with the teaser and the song Vaayadi Petha Pulla sung by Sivakarthikeyan's daughter became a viral hit.
On Thursday, Sivakarthikeyan and team made a huge announcement and revealed that the venture will be hitting the screens in the month of December. The official release date of the movie is expected to be revealed soon.
