Sivakarthikeyan is one of the busiest stars in Tamil cinema at present as he is working simultaneously back-to-back on Indru Netru Naalai director R. Ravikumar's sci-fi film, SK 14, featuring music by A. R. Rahman, KJR Studios’ Hero with Irumbu Thirai director PS Mithran, director Pandiraj’s rural entertainer film tentatively titled SK 16 being produced by Sun Pictures and will begin shooting for Lyca Productions’ SK 17 under Vignesh Shivan’s direction soon. Likewise, the actor was revealed to be part of Kolamaavu Kokila director Nelson Dilipkumar’s next, SK 18, with sources close to us now informing that pre-production work on the project is carrying forward in full swing and shooting will kick-start from September.

There has been considerable excitement for Sivakarthikeyan’s SK 18 after the film’s director Nelson Dilipkumar had recently posted a casting call to which composer Anirudh Ravichander first responded leading many to speculate he will be coming on board the project to score the music. Soon after, director Vignesh Shivan too reacted leaving many guessing if he too would be contributing on some level on the venture. As of now, no producer or production house has been revealed to be attached to SK 18 and we can expect more details on the cast and crew to be made official as the days pass on.
